    Theme for 19th CEOs Conference

Pursuit of Global Excellence in the areas of Manufacturing, Operations and Services for making use of opportunities arising under ‘Make in India’

Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi has envisioned a dream to make India the world’s manufacturing hub. For this he has initiated the”Make in India” campaign. The aspiration is laudable but not easy to achieve. For making this vision reality, both government and industry need to take bold and sustained measures. There has to be a structured approach for achieving this dream.

On one side, it is expected that government should make ease in doing business a reality, create right infrastructure and drive labour reforms. On the other side, industry should bet on technology and innovation to revive their manufacturing and should strive for achieving global leadership in manufacturing. At the same time, institutes and educational bodies need to make sure that they supply skilled human resource to industry which is efficient and effective.

One thing is sure that the stage is set for India to play a major role in world manufacturing. This conference aims at playing its part in laying out key imperatives and a roadmap for turning this vision into reality.

We invite CEOs, bureaucrats, technocrats and thinkers who can share their knowledge and experience toward this mission. We expect the deliberations, discussions and churning of ideas on following themes:

  • Creating and sustaining global competitiveness
  • Creating positive mindset for’ Made in India’ products
  • Ease of doing business
  • Regulatory reforms
  • Technology and Innovation
  • Role of University, Educational Institutes & Research Institutes in pursuit of“Make inIndia”
  • Achieving cost leadership
  • Business transformation
